Revision urethroplasty is a secondary operation performed on the urethra to treat a recurrent stricture or a complication following previous urethroplasty.

Due to scar tissue and altered anatomy from earlier surgery, these procedures are more complex and require advanced surgical expertise. Patients are generally advised to wait at least 6 months after their last operation undergoing revision surgery.

Revision urethroplasty demands proficiency in various recurrent urethral stricture, urethrocutaneous fistula, penile skin tethering, meatal deformity, and persistent voiding difficulties.
